“An away team was a team of specialized starship or starbase crew members assembled to perform missions on planet surfaces and other starships. These missions, deemed away missions, might include exploration, first contact, diplomacy, scientific research, or even combat. ”

The F.K.V. BATLH and her crew will have multiple away missions throughout the year. Participation in these away missions is not mandatory but why miss out on all the fun. Here are just a few ideas for recurring away missions.

• Star Trek Party September 8th – The premier episode of Star Trek aired September 8, 1966 so why not have a party on Star Trek’s birthday!
• Las Vegas Kahn! – The biggest Star Trek convention every year.
• Vulcan Canada – An actual Star Trek city or province as it were in Vulcan AB Canada.
• Portland Comic-Con – February 17-19 2017.
• Rose City Comic-Con – September 10-11 2016.
